Eyes Position: Closely and Broadly Set Eyes

April 19th, 2009 -- Posted in Splendour of Your Eyes | No Comments »

Eyes PositionEyes position is as important for face harmony as eyes size. If eyes are too closely set, this may speak for person’s dependency on his/her parents and for restricted abilities to self-development. If eyes are too broadly set, it may denote cold relations with parents or insufficient parental care. The first type is a sign of weak character, the second one stands for great potential. If eyes are harmonically set, the person is in harmony with himself/herself and the world around.

Closely Set Eyes:

  • Apply eyeshadow beyond the external tails of the eyes. Use light shadow for the inner part of the eyelid and brighter one for the outer part. Shade the borderline between the shadows.
  • Indent 2/3 of the inner tail of the eye and start putting eyeliner. Draw the line a bit beyond the external tail of the eye.
  • Use two shades for highlight under eyebrows: make the inner part very light, and let the outer one be darker.
  • If you wear glasses, choose rim with light side. Do not wear glasses with heavy side.

The Eyes are the Mirror of the Soul

April 15th, 2009 -- Posted in Splendour of Your Eyes | No Comments »

The Eyes are the Mirror of the SoulI’ve told you before that eyes is the first thing in human’s appearance that attracts me at first sight. I don’t know if you are impressed by human eyes as much as I am, but I am going to offer you some hints as for how different features of human eyes can be treated. The thing is that different eye characteristics can tell a lot about the person the eyes belong to. It’s up to you to believe in the interconnection between characteristics of human eyes and character traits or not, but I beg you to at least learn a bit about this interconnection – who knows, may be in future, this knowledge will help you somehow.

So, let’s start with whites. If a person has very impressive whites, it means that he/she is subjected to different mishaps. Such people often get into trouble. If the whites are observed over iris, it may be a sign that the owner of such eyes is uncontrollable. He/she can easily fall into a rage.

If a person has a dark-brown iris, this is a sign of vital energy. Blue eyes speak for cheerful disposition; green eyes are more mysterious and intelligent. Violet eyes are charming and yellow eyes denote strong character.

People who have long eyelashes are often sensitive, possess a wide range of spiritual values and are not aggressively inclined. Short thick eyelashes denote energetic personality, strong and aggressive character. Thin eyelashes speak for inactivity due to poor bloodstream. continue reading »

Eye Liner and Mascara: David and Jonathan

March 25th, 2009 -- Posted in Splendour of Your Eyes | No Comments »

Eye Liner and MascaraEye liner and mascara are two chums that every woman should strive to make friends with. Eye liner and mascara, if properly applied, constitute a competition phase of make-up process. If a woman knows the secrets of eye liner and mascara use, she knows how to bring her eye make-up to perfection. You are welcome to consider some of these secrets below:

  • Eye Liner and Mascara. Secret # 1. First, apply eye liner, then apply mascara. Remember, that mascara is the final touch; it is applied when the rest of eye make-up has already been done. When you apply eye liner after mascara, you may damage your lashes and they won’t look as beautiful as they did when mascara has been just applied.
  • Eye Liner and Mascara. Secret # 2. Try to choose eye liner and mascara that go well together. For colored mascara use colored eye liner, i.e. blue, green; for black, grey or brown mascara use black, grey, brown or dark blue eye liner.
  • Eye Liner and Mascara. Secret # 3. For day make-up, apply drab or brown eye liner (if there is a need in it) and brown mascara. For evening make-up, apply either colored eye liner – blue, green – or a black one and blue, dark blue, violet and black mascara.

Please, note that eye liner attracts attention to the eye form if it is gently applied, if your eye liner is too dark or the line is too thick, your eyes will look purblind. Do not try to create a new form of your eyes with the help of eye liner. Just follow the natural line of superior eyelid, as near to eyelashes, as you can. You can also apply eye liner to inferior eyelid drawing a line just on eyelashes. The line should be very thin and well-defined, make sure you leave the upper tails of your eyes untouched. continue reading »

Eye Make-Up: Basic Rules to Follow

March 23rd, 2009 -- Posted in Splendour of Your Eyes | No Comments »

Eye Make-UpHate rules? Like eye make-up? So, be ready to like eye make-up rules! Easy to follow and effective, eye make-up rules are among other important secrets that pretty women should keep.

1. Eye Make-Up – Highlight. Use eye shadow under eyebrows. This is the lightest shadow you use. For evening make-up, highlight can be shining (gold or silver, ivory yellow); for day make-up use buff or light rosy shadows. Shadows should be just under the eyebrows, they reflect light, visually increasing the distance between eye and eyebrow. Sometimes a combination of three different highlights is used. They are applied on different zones of eyebrow arch: one is put on the inner zone, another is put on the central zone and the third one is put on the tail of the eye. This combination creates an extra effect, color play.

2. Eye Make-Up – Superior Eyelid Shadows. Shadows that you put on superior eyelids should be the brightest. The color you use should match your clothes. It is preferable to use some fancy colors. Shadows are applied in the following way: the lightest are used on the inner third of eyelid, the darkest are used on the outer third of eyelid, and the brightest ones are put on the central part of eyelid. Still, any other combinations are welcome. It’s up to you to decide on the way you put shadows, but, please, do not forget that striking is not always exquisite. continue reading »

Human Eyes: The Art of Flirting

March 5th, 2009 -- Posted in Splendour of Your Eyes | No Comments »

Human EyesThough one might argue that eyes are not the first thing boys look at :) however, I strongly believe that this is with eyes that we can kill the boys on the spot. According to Chinese anthroposcopy, human eyes symbolize yin and yan – the right eye stands for the yin sign and the left eye stands for the yan sign. May be, boys see some lofty unity in our eyes and become head over heels in love with us. If this is really so, why not to turn our eyes into the weapon that kills them once and forever?

Some simple secrets can turn our eyes beautiful and no one will resist their splendor.

They say that beautiful human eyes radiate happiness and confidence. Such eyes shine. This brilliance is a product of precise mind, good spirits and vital energy. Shining eyes compel everyone’s attention – just remember the eyes of a Spanish dancer and the eyes of two people in love!

Perfect make-up can “light up” your eyes as well as your good health and positive attitude to life.

Your smile – both inner and open – help your eyes shine with zest for life. Your eyes become impressive every time you smile. Natural look of your eyes attracts everyone’s attention. Just think over how effectively you “use” our eyes. Try to keep them gaping and do not gaze on one spot when you talk to people, at the same time maintaining “eye” contact with your interlocutor. Capture attention by flirting with your eyes at the right moment. This is a perfectly special art indeed – the art of eyes flirting…
