Eye Lash Care

April 28th, 2009 -- Posted in Eye Lash Care - It's Simple | No Comments »

Hope you have beautiful eyelashes and have a few problems with them. Yet, I’m sure you want to know more about the ways to keep your eyelashes healthy and strong. Then let me ask you, what do you know about eye lash care? Are you sure you know at least some simple rules of eye lash care and stick to them?

I really do not get those ladies who take eye lash care lightly. Yes, our lashes renew constantly and new ones grow instead of those fallen out. However, I’m sure this process will not last forever and one day you will notice that your lashes are so weak.

So, let me give some good tips or basic principles of eye lash care that will help to keep your lashes healthier and stronger.

Eye lash care: tip 1

Do not wear too much mascara and avoid using waterproof mascara on a regular basis. Yes, these days mascara seems to be rather a friendly product for our lashes. They add all sorts of vitamins and nourishing substances to mascara. Still, this product doesn’t make our lashes stronger.

Thus, remember the first principle of eye lash care: less mascara on your lashes. continue reading »

April 25th, 2009 -- Posted in Eyelashes Growth Products: Generalities | No Comments »

Grow Long EyelashesLong eye lashes….Jesus, I want them so much! This is what I can frequently hear from one of my friends. Poor thing, she thinks that her lashes are ugly. She has spent a fortune on all sorts of mascara and products that can help to make her lashes stronger and longer.

Well, she didn’t manage to grow long eyelashes. Still, I have to say that she did achieve some good results. I can share some of her secrets with you and give some other recommendations on how to grow long eyelashes.

First, there is one not very pleasant thing that I have to tell you. Actually, it’s almost impossible to grow long eyelashes. You know, it runs in your blood. If nature blessed you with fabulous, long lashes, lucky you are! If not, nothing will help you grow long eyelashes.

Second, although it’s really hard to grow long eyelashes, you can make them stronger. You do have a chance to make your lashes thicker and prevent them from falling out. Fuzzy and thick lashes seem to be a good way out for those who cannot grow long eyelashes. continue reading »

Eyelash Liner

April 21st, 2009 -- Posted in Lash Liner Tips | No Comments »

What do you think is the most effective way to get an awesome look? Sure, there are a lot of cosmetic tools that can help you do it: mascara, eye shadows, eyelash curler, etc. Yet, do you know that a humble eyelash liner can do miracles to your eyes?

O.k. eyelash liner won’t make your lashes fuller or more fabulous. However, eyelash liner can help you get an extreme and just awesome look. You simply need to know the correct ways of using and applying eyelash liner. This is what I want to tell you about right now.

So, there are actually two steps that you will have to take and two types of eyelash liner that you will have to use: an eyelash marker or a pencil and a liquid eyelash liner.

Well, here we go! Getting an awesome look with the help of an eyelash liner:

Step #1

You take an eyelash marker or a pencil and draw a thin line. This line should be drawn almost inside your lashes, just where your eyelash line is. So, you go with an eyelash liner from lash to lash. Needless to say, your eyes should be closed. If it’s necessary, you can pull the skin of your eyelid a little. continue reading »

Eyes Position: Closely and Broadly Set Eyes

April 19th, 2009 -- Posted in Splendour of Your Eyes | No Comments »

Eyes PositionEyes position is as important for face harmony as eyes size. If eyes are too closely set, this may speak for person’s dependency on his/her parents and for restricted abilities to self-development. If eyes are too broadly set, it may denote cold relations with parents or insufficient parental care. The first type is a sign of weak character, the second one stands for great potential. If eyes are harmonically set, the person is in harmony with himself/herself and the world around.

Closely Set Eyes:

  • Apply eyeshadow beyond the external tails of the eyes. Use light shadow for the inner part of the eyelid and brighter one for the outer part. Shade the borderline between the shadows.
  • Indent 2/3 of the inner tail of the eye and start putting eyeliner. Draw the line a bit beyond the external tail of the eye.
  • Use two shades for highlight under eyebrows: make the inner part very light, and let the outer one be darker.
  • If you wear glasses, choose rim with light side. Do not wear glasses with heavy side.

The Eyes are the Mirror of the Soul

April 15th, 2009 -- Posted in Splendour of Your Eyes | No Comments »

The Eyes are the Mirror of the SoulI’ve told you before that eyes is the first thing in human’s appearance that attracts me at first sight. I don’t know if you are impressed by human eyes as much as I am, but I am going to offer you some hints as for how different features of human eyes can be treated. The thing is that different eye characteristics can tell a lot about the person the eyes belong to. It’s up to you to believe in the interconnection between characteristics of human eyes and character traits or not, but I beg you to at least learn a bit about this interconnection – who knows, may be in future, this knowledge will help you somehow.

So, let’s start with whites. If a person has very impressive whites, it means that he/she is subjected to different mishaps. Such people often get into trouble. If the whites are observed over iris, it may be a sign that the owner of such eyes is uncontrollable. He/she can easily fall into a rage.

If a person has a dark-brown iris, this is a sign of vital energy. Blue eyes speak for cheerful disposition; green eyes are more mysterious and intelligent. Violet eyes are charming and yellow eyes denote strong character.

People who have long eyelashes are often sensitive, possess a wide range of spiritual values and are not aggressively inclined. Short thick eyelashes denote energetic personality, strong and aggressive character. Thin eyelashes speak for inactivity due to poor bloodstream. continue reading »

Eye Make-Up – Special Cases

April 11th, 2009 -- Posted in Eye Make-Up Hints | No Comments »

Eye Make-Up Special Cases

  • If you use contact lenses, do not apply loose eyeshadow and length mascara. You’d better use rich shadow and waterproof mascara. In this case, small particles of your make-up will not damage contact lenses.
  • If you wear glasses, emphasize your eyes greatly. Use bright colors, dark eyeliner and mascara. If your lashes contact the glasses, curl them as much as you can before applying mascara.
  • If you have wrinkled eyelids, do not try to powder the wrinkles and don’t use loose or frosted eyeshadow, as this will stress the problems of your skin. Rich shadow will do.
  • Dark-skinned women should not powder their eye make-up, for this will lead to a pale skin color. As you have rich skin color and expressive physiognomy, effective colors and shining shadow is the best choice for you. Pearl shadow will be perfect as they are clear and skin color can be observed through it.
  • If you are a teenager, do not use flashy colors. Choose frosted shadows; choose colors close to your skin color.
